Free emergency dental treatment for refugees from Ukraine, and ordinary dental care for Ukrainians who already live in Norway. TannlegeBislett is a private dental clinic in central Oslo, a few minutes from Bislett stadium.
The free emergency treatment applies only to Ukrainian citizens who have applied for protection in Norway and who have lived in Norway for one year or less. If you have been here longer, you are still welcome as an ordinary patient.
Since February 2022 a large number of people have fled Ukraine and come to Norway. Living expenses and health services are covered by the Norwegian state, but the practical arrangements normally take time to put in place.
Dental care is among the services refugees are entitled to. After a sudden and traumatic escape from your home country, however, some people need emergency dental treatment straight away. As a gesture of solidarity during this humanitarian crisis, TannlegeBislett offers free emergency dental treatment to Ukrainian refugees in Oslo.
Our voluntary, non-profit offer has been authorised by the Embassy of Ukraine in Norway.
These treatments can still be carried out at the clinic as ordinary, paid treatment. You will find our prices in the price list.
Many of our Ukrainian patients come to us with a decision or a requisition for dental treatment from NAV or from the municipality. You are welcome to use it at TannlegeBislett. Bring the document with you, and we will go through what it covers before any treatment starts.
You can read more about the Norwegian schemes on our page about public support for dental treatment.
The identity of our patients, and the treatment we provide, are confidential and will not be disclosed.
Every patient has an electronic record with us, including x-rays. It can be made available for further follow-up on request.
